Getting the most out of a conference if you might sell
- Listen more than you pitch. Platform sessions tell you which specialties and regions buyers are targeting and how they talk about valuations.
- Be careful what you share. A casual conversation with a buyer can turn into an unsolicited offer before you know what your practice is worth. Know your number first.
- Talk to physicians who already sold. Ask what they would negotiate differently, especially on rollover equity and earnouts.
